    22 v 15 mm !!

hi thanks for the info it is a combi boiler so am definitely going to go with a 15mm to shower - still uncertain about bath I take your point about delay but the flow will be so much higher... The 3/4" is off of the tap which is in the wall. A single tap controls shower and bath, so...

    22 v 15 mm !!

so if i were to run 15mm supply to shower and 22mm to bath that would be ok? Trouble is sourcing a 22mm to 1/2" bsp connector! I have tried but no luck do they do them? otherwise i will have to step down as i mentioned above just before the bath outlet, which presumably would be ok? cheers.

    22 v 15 mm !!

Hi Am installing a new bathroom and would like opinions on the size of pipe to use. The tap is a 2 valve thermostatic mixer (one valve for bath and one for separate shower). I have taken 22mm hot/cold feeds to the tap. Question 1 is: on the shower and bath they both have 1/2" bsp...

old Bartol waste pipe to new

If I got 40mm push fit polypropylene waste pipe, could I put some solvent weld around the edge of the joint to seal it or is this asking for trouble? Can you even solvent weld polypropylene? It's very late and I'm still thinking about this!! :?

old Bartol waste pipe to new

moving bath waste in concrete floor

OK, Possible change of plan! There is the current 32" sink waste (also emerging from the concrete floor)which when the bath is moved will be under the bath. Would it be possible to use this for sink and bath waste and cap off the old 40" waste pipe and bury it under the floor? If so the...

moving bath waste in concrete floor

Thanks - bubble wrap is a great idea! Also going to move the 22mm copper pipes which come up through the concrete floor. Annoyingly they only have to be moved about 2" !! Going to swap to plastic pipe when it hits the surface but is my option if i do this to dig down and solder a bend to the...

moving bath waste in concrete floor

Hi thanks for response - it is a bit confusing. We will have to dig out the concrete (what fun!) But I just wondered if anyone had any advise about running a 40mm plastic waste in concrete. Will the cement weld be ok? Also, when it comes out of the concrete floor in it's new position what...
