    combi boiler pressure regulation

ahh - so that's what all the puddles are about then? Thanks so much for your reply. I feared as much. It must be a really tiny leak as this all only happens when it's out of use for more than a few days. Would a hairline crack only open up when a pipe is cold, but not when the heating is...

    combi boiler pressure regulation

Dear DIY-noters, When I go away for 2 weeks I invariably come back to my 2 year old Baxi Duotec 28HE flashing E19 (pressure too low) - even if I've had it come on every day. I fill it - just until it starts up again - and all is well.... Next morning - pressure gauge is showing in the...

high pressure/fast leaking Baxi Duo-Tec Combi HE

hi, You guys were very helpful when I was choosing this boiler a year ago. Fitted & commissioned, I've been very happy except... the kitchen tap has never managed to keep up a flow of hot water without my turning it on really hard, and then often turning it off & on again after a couple of...

Combi boiler & hot water flow - dumb question

Wow! What have I walked into?! The flow from the kitchen tap is just over 12 (ok 12.3)litres per minute. This exercise has also told me that I would find 11 litres per minute acceptable, which is what my chosen boiler claims to produce. that sound likely? thanks w-j.

Combi boiler & hot water flow - dumb question

thanks for the reassurance! so - if I were to go up to the 33, without being able to change my mains water flow, I'd be wasting my money? and then I'll shut up - I promise! w-j.

Combi boiler & hot water flow - dumb question

thanks sooey-helpful advice. the cold tap couldn't knock you over with it's pressure (as some), but it comes out fast enough. guess it's hard to judge what fast enough is without experience. any rules of thumb that can be explained over email? gas4you - cruel to a poor householder who's...

hi - another new typeface.; no pro.; trying to get my head around boiler technology... Am replacing a boiler in a small Victorian terraced house (2 up, 2 down, + bathrm up, kitchen down). I've just bought the house & not used the old (Radiant) boiler, so don't know how it performed. I...
