Tony - the boiler itself is working ok for the hot water (when placed on "continuous hot water") but not for either hot water or central heating when put onto "timed". Cheers.

Thanks again for the posts guys. Just tried the suggested reset, and the unit did reset but the lights are still only faint. Will check the fuse later in the week to see if it's a 3 amp or not. Any ideas what my next step should be? If it's to call in an expert, can anyone reccommend...

Dan - thanks for that, much appreciated. Re. the fuse, I can see a wire going from the unit to the wall, which has a fuse in it (one screw holding the cover in, "fuse" written on the plastic). Is it just a case of swapping the fuse in there for a new three amp fuse to see if it's just...

Thanks Dan :) The only thing I can see on it is the Powermax/Range 155x, and there's what I assume is the serial number on a sticker, stuck on the bottom bit of the boiler.
