    Tools

Hi guys, Thanks for the replies so far. Looking for good tools. The T5 does seem like the bees knees. With regards the megger, I was told the BM400 range is or was a good make. Have used the Robin range. The MIT400 replaces the BM400 range. Anyone any use of the MIT230 or the MIT230?

    TRV position on Radiator

Hi Guys, Thanks for your replies. The house is of 2002 build, only in it a few months. Does look like it is the only one with the TRV on the return. Directional arrows on the TRV show either way for flow. I'll just keep an eye on it. Again, Thanks much appreciated.

    TRV position on Radiator

Hi, How critical is it to have the TRV on the supply to the radiator. Have just checked all the rad's and two of them were cold. Removed the head on the TRV and pushed the pin a few times and it freed up the valve. On one of the radiators it wasn't getting warm about the TRV valve but it was...

use a motorised valve or not.

use a motorised valve or not.

I'm putting in a heating system, running off a solid fuel back boiler. My question is whether to use a 3 way motorised valve. On it's normally open position it would allow the DHW cylinder to heat, when it switches it would open up to the radiators. If i use the motorised valve i can control...
