    latex paint? skim over?

    Hi just stripped a room of wallpaper for skim and found a large section of what looks like latex paint. It seems to be bonded well to the wall. It blisters when steamer is in contact with it. Do I need to remove this before skim. Cheers

    Minimum boiler clearances have been met (infact exceeded). front door comes off with blum quick release catches. front boiler cover can easilly come off after this. Bottom and top panels also come off with no problem for axcess to filling loop and flue testing point. Infact I can strip away...

    also should add its not just a case of getting a combi boiler to fit in a 300mm deep wall unit (these are available) that is the problem but getting one that size that can provide the instant hot water power that you require is the issue.

    Had the same prob and this was the result after fitting a ultracom 30cxi. Shows that with a bit of thought and planning no pipes and wiring need to be on show although I must admit I made the end cabinet that sites the boiler but any kitchen fitter that is worth his/her salt should do this in...

    superglue disaster

    when I once got superglue in the eye (thats another story) was told that in a couple of hours the superglue would break down due to the moisture/water in my eye. It did. Try leaving a puddle of water on it fo a few hours and see if it softens. Dont know if it will work but not hard to try.

    Apart from any mechanical malfunction like loss of compression/engine damage your generator has somehow?! suffered by sitting in storage there is three things a petrol engine needs to start. fuel, air and spark. Good idea to check/remove air filter, this will eradicate one of the above...

    im not out my safe zones m8, the vertical concrete that has been filled to the roof has no cable in it. If you have a look at this you can see where the electrics run. aye made a c**k of the pictures eh will sort them soon as I can.
