    No Dave ,you didn't answer this for me because you assumed the system was without a scale reducer for the two years but I subsequently posted that it was only missing for 6 weeks. Look at all the info I,ve given and think about it for me please! Thankyou.

    Yes-the hot tap in the kitchen has been dripping for ages but I haven't bothered to get it fixed as I'm going to have a total kitchen refit soon so didn't think it was worth it.Do you think that's significant then?
