    minimum high for oval conduit??

My conduit is pvc one, and wanted to run cable vertically, then horizontally just under plaster level and was wondering wouldn't it be to low. Now you say I can't do that unless I use metal conduit. So the PVC conduit has to be covered under plaster but not high skirting board, is that right?

DPC Liquid - Would that be ok?

Hi guys! 1. A year ago I did Dryzone course, and then I used waterproofer sand and cement, then after 2 weeks after 2 coats of plaster. 2. The same time I installed a garden door in my living room, so dpc has not been done under the door. It was too low to use dryzone. 2 very important...

Uneven walls, got to have approx 27-30mm, how???

The box is leveled with tile adhesive (underfloor heating). Today I've plastered the wall using KNAUF one coat plaster. Yes, it's a crap material, but I've used it just to level the wall up. On the top of it I will finish with 2 coats of multifinish. Thanks!

Uneven walls, got to have approx 27-30mm, how???

//www.diynot.com/network/ragged13/albums Yes, you're right! Before I started tiling I knew that the concrete blocks are awfuly uneven, but I didn't expect that big difference. Perhaps the builder was extremely drunk? LOL Somebody could suggest to install a plasterboard, yes, I agree...

Uneven walls, got to have approx 27-30mm, how???

Grypoc customer service. They said. Once backing plaster is done, then you should apply finishing plaster. On the top of existing plaster I cannot plaster, they say. Yes, maybe you can, you can do finishing plaster, but it's only 3mm, but I need to fill it up to 15mm :(

Unibond flexible floor tile adhesive FOR WALLS???

Karis, tpt Thank you for your tips. I didn't know that Unibond doesn't have good reputation. I paid 25quid for a bucket (ready mix stuff, but not all in one, would never buy anything like that), I thought it's a good quality adhesive. So maybe I will just get another bag of wall...

How to finish a gap under plaster?

kjacko thanks for your advises. I think I will do skimming, using easyfill, and then use primer to avoid "flashing". I think the hardest thing in my case is to connect different type of materials. I never had to do it, I usually plaster whole wall, less headache ;) [/b]

How to finish a gap under plaster?

Well, I've mentioned that my skirting will be only a few cm. Not standard size. I don't like high skirting board. I have approx. 60mm gap from existing plaster to the floor. If I have let say 30mm bead then I still have to fill another 30mm and join existing plaster with a filler. I've...

How to finish a gap under plaster?

Ok then, so if I fix a skirting board to batton(using adhesive) I will have a gap between skirting and existing plaster. So which filler should I use to fill this gap, to achieve good smooth surface, Obviously it's not a good idea to use Multifinish (Im not a pro plasterer, but I know how...

How to finish a gap under plaster?

I don't want to have no gap at all as I know that floor movement can occur. But my gap would be only 10mm high, and I want to cover it with the bead, or low profile skirting board. If I do it from the floor, then I will have a gap above the bead (or skirting), is that what you suggest...
