    Yea I agree but its a dam sight easyer if I can mount the motorized valve as in my above post, it seems a bit crazy to to turn the pipework through 180 degrees, fit the the valve the usual way up and then turn the pipe work back through 180 degrees to join back up with the exsisting pipework...

    Potterton Prima 30B

    Hi Both I had the same on my Potterton Prima 30B, there is a deflector tube that bends the pilot light flame onto the thermocouple, the tube gets sooted up and the flame hardly reaches the thermocouple. I just de-coked the small tube with a pipe cleaner bent over on itself. ATB Len
