Thanks Breezer, I think you're probably right, and I certainly don't want to look cheap.... ok, onto the next idea then. sigh.

I was thinking of painting the cork tiles on our bathroom floor white. Is this such a good idea? If so, do I need special paint to do it? The tiles are filthy and make our bathroom look grimey. Thanks for any advice. Amanda
