painting cork tiles on the floor

I was thinking of painting the cork tiles on our bathroom floor white.

Is this such a good idea? If so, do I need special paint to do it?

The tiles are filthy and make our bathroom look grimey.

rip them up.

paint may / will

a) be slippery when wet
b) wear in time not looking any better
c) look "cheap"

Get some nice white cork tiles from SiestaCork. They are acrylic coated so are ideal for bathrooms.
