Found a scaffolding board instead of a lintel
I’m renovating an old building, and need to replace the current window. Upon inspection the lintel seems to be a bit of wood, similar to a scaffolding board rammed in. The walls are 9” solid brick. Could I replace with two concrete lintels (one for each skin) or is this opening too large...
