door repair

Hi, I'm looking for advice on improving the finish on an internal wooden door. The surface is quite rough in places and has some small raised spots or bubbles. The finish doesn't look very flat or even, especially around the mouldings and panel details. It looks like it has quite a thick layer...

All I'm new here. I have a brand new Kloeber front door factory spray painted in RAL9005 and installed but my builders managed to knock it. Any ideas on how to fix this or repair it without spraying whole door and frame. Thanks
