Hi, Having some dilemma where to place an extraction fan in my ensuite as looks like "static" vent (old hole above the window) and opening a window is not enough to take a moisture out, especially during a winter. Attached a sketch of bathroom and noted where the black dots starting coming out...

I had to remove the original moisture board in my ensuite, and I’m about to replace it with good quality plywood. My question relates to whether it is necessary to leave a 10 mm gap around the small room (< 3m²)? If not, what gap is appropriate? TIA

I will soon be skimming the ceiling of my en-suite and spotted a few comments about using SBR instead of PVA prior to the skim. Previously i've only ever used PVA, but then again i've never skimmed an area that is affected by humidity. I have both products in the garage and so is SBR the better...
