    Connecting to old plastic pipe

    Can I use standard push fit bits on this old plastic pipe ? The fittings at the end are marked with hbp but rather than try and remove them simply cut the pipe and add a push fit connection instead. Is that possible or do I have to use some special sort of fitting on them ? Thanks!

    Speedfit flush to wall

    I find this a lot. I put a pipe through a solid wall and on the other side I want to use a pushfit elbow and run the pipe down the wall, but the elbow is so big that the pipe won't lie close to the wall . I guess burying the end of the elbow is not a good idea. How do you do it?
