valspar acrylic gloss

Does anyone have any ideas how i can fix this? The prev owners used dulux, which I stupidly painted over with Valspar. now the frog tape when doing the edging is pulling off the whole thing! See pic attached Thanks for your help!

Anyone else had difficulty with coverage with Valspar acrylic gloss? Left all brush strokes and failed to cover adequately in three coats. Had to resort to similar oil-based Dulux gloss to complete job. Worse still after three months of trying to get B&Q to address this I have been completely...
