Anyone know if Protek 10ma 25A DP RCDs are ok?

Only ever used MEM MG MK RCDs, never Protek.

I assume they must be re BSEN compliant, although lifespan might be an issue. Price is as much volume related on RCD/RCBOs.

It's for a relative in a Clipsal RCD-Skt box glanded to plug, simply because the dumb *** keeps cutting a hedge trimmer cable. Yes I know 30ma is sufficient, but it is close to ventricular fib on the charts. Ground is always pretty wet since it is near a brook on higher ground.

I installed a protec splitload cu on Saturday for a customer.
No problems with the rcd under testing x1 = 18mS & x5=12mS

Sounds good, ok, Protek it is, will test with RCDT320 anyway - just in case it turns out to be a switch ;)

Thanks.
