the pipes leading to most of my radiators are 10mm wide, and the new towel radiator i'm installing has come with 15mm thermostats

Is it ok for me to put a 15-10mm reducing coupler (even though the water will be going from a narrower pipe into a wider one, or do i need to go back to the main 22mm pipe where it branches off and change the reducing Tee?

Any help is much appreicated

cheers

A towel rail will happily heat up off a 10mm supply. Will look poor though if the redcuer is on show.

You can get 10mm reducing olives all you do is throw awat the 15 mm olives that come with new valves & use reducing olives instead or you could buy 10mm rad valves
