2 gang light switch

Can anyone provide the circuit diagram for 2, 2 gang switches operating one light. I can't figure out how its all connected in the switching circuit so that each switch can function independantly of eachother and its really bugging me!

I think you mean two 2-way switches (a 2-gang switch has two switch toggles on one plate). Read the thread called 'For Reference' at the top of the index page.

There are two methods of wiring a pair of two way switches.
In one case you will have three wires at each switch ( excluding earths)
In the other case you will have three wires at one switch and five wires at the other switch ( excluding earths)
I don't think the thread covers both methods.
