I have two lights controlled by 2 switches, one at the top and bottom of the stairs that my renters constantly leave on. Each switch has 3 wires, black, white, and red.

Is it possible to put a motion sensing light switch at each location? If so, how??

Thanks

Something we have in the UK is a pneumatic switch. You press the lightswitch and it leaves the light on for a predetermined time
like this.

I am sure that you could get something similar at HomeDepot or an electrical retailer (try Yellow Pages?)

You probably can get PIR switches, but a delay switch is a lot easier.

(except the switches have to be wired in paralell for the pneumatic ones)
