I've got a problem with a Siemens MA-V322C2 3 port valve. The motor is getting very hot and doesn't seem to turn off when the valve is fully open, it just seems to keep trying to turn and stalling, hence the heat. There are 2 microswitches and a small PCB with a badly burnt resistor on it (whose value is unreadable) which I assume should shut off the motor when fully open which I think may be the problem but are part of the main body and not part of the motor housing replacement.
Can anyone confirm that the motor should shut off once fully open and can anyone give me the value of the resistor by any chance?
