Problem 1.

Last week the hws to the kitchen sink went from normal pressure & flowrate to a meagre dribble that eventually went to nothing. The problem got left for a day & it kinda resolved itself. However, today it has happened again. I disconnected the mixer tap from the feeds and checked the flow through the isolating valve. It wasn't a tap problem as it was dribbling through the IV. Additionally, the upstairs HWS is fine & is coming through bath & basin taps nicely.

THe system is an open vented sort & has been drained down several times over the last month for decorating/rad removal purposes.

Is it an airlock which can be sorted via the hand over outlet method or something more sinister?

Problem 2:

CWS is coming through off Mains in kitchen at full 1 bar pressure & almost takes my hand off when in use! However, in the bathroom, the basin tap is running at about half pressure & the bath tap even less. I've checked the route of the pipework up to the loft & the bathroom is off the mains. The toilet is off the CW tank & this is filling up at normal rate after a flush (the tank, not the cistern). I've checked the IV's on the pipework & they are open so there is no issue there, I am stumped as to why these legs are so poor. The p/work is 15dia.

Cheers

Check the ball valve in the cold tank in loft.
