Hi Guys,
I have had my Worcester 30cdi for almost 2 years. It has worked perfectly until 2 days ago ( Coldest time in the UK) when it stopped working and showed the error EA. It looked as if it was having difficulties blowing out the waste ( flue) and there was nothing coming out of the flue pipe. I thought it was blocked and hence switched off the boiler and waited to call for help the next morning as I could not get help in the night.
I, however, turned it on the next morning and it started to work normally and it has been for the about 7 hrs now.
Could this be due to a blockage in the pipe and if yes how did it get unblocked in the night when it was even colder? What can I do to prevent future problems please?
Many thanks
Pas

Probably a blocked condensate drain pipe.

You could have read about them on here and defrosted the pipes by pouring hot water over them.

Alternatively, if charging by the hour, you could have taken rather longer and used a hair drier.
