35cdi gas control valve?

the gas control valve on my 35cdi really seems to hammer when it goes to ignite? is this normal? u can hear it through the pipes in the house!?

No its not normal. Is it a banging noise like the system overheating or a loud click like a solenoid opening and closing?

its definitely coming from the solenoid, it does'nt seem to be overheating...it is only when the boiler fires up? the boiler seems to be just a noisy boiler! are these renown for this or is it of a good quality? thanks

they do tend to be problematic on the cdis but just one of those things really, personally I would get someone in to swap the complete valve over as I'm sure they are an updated valve now.

When was it last serviced, i'd have the high/low burner pressure checked. Also some have dungs/honeywell gas valves, what is yours?
