Any one know what the correct spark plug gap is for a 1900 peugeot 406?

I think it's 0.8mm but you'd be better to specify the year and engine to be exact.

I have pulled this off the internet but its for Champion plugs and other makes might be different.

Ignition system
Spark plugs:
TU and XU carburetor engines ........ Champion C9YCC
XU injection 8-valve engines ........ Champion C7YCC
XU injection16-valve engines ........ Champion RC7BMC
Spark plug electrode gap*:
8-valve engines ..................... 0.8 mm
16-valve engines .................... 1.6 mm
Ignition HT lead resistance ........... Appr. 600 ohms per 100 mm length
*The spark plug gap quoted is that recommended by Champion
for their specified plugs listed above.
