6" or 8" wall extractor fan with filter?

Is it possible to buy a 6" or 8" extractor fan (flush wall mount, like in a bathroom) with some kind of filter so it can be used in a kitchen mounted on a splashback above a hob, to remove cooking smells instead of a conventional cooker hood? Preferably with a decorative silver/chrome/grey facia instead of the usual bathroom white

I have searched but not come up with anything yet so thought I'd ask. Ideally we want to keep the wall above our hob clear, so am thinking 2 x flush wall mounted fans to extract to the outside

From a building control point of view, it can be installed out of sight above the adjacent cupboard as long as it has the extraction volume rating.

You will catch the steam and fumes better if you have a canopy above the hob, which you can build into a matching top cabinet if you like.
