8v or 16v

Hi, how do i tell if my sons renault clio authentique is a 8v or 16v i cant find anything in the paperwork. my daughters clio is a 16v as its got the the number on the trim so shall i assume his is 8v as he hasnt got that ? cheers P M

Have a look under the bonnet the differences will be obvious.

note the reg no, go to an online car insurance website, put the regno in to get a quote, it will look it up for you and tell you the model details

Thanks guys its a 8v now off to get an oil filter, now where is the oil sump drain plug.........
