Hi,

I'm trying to install the 8xp-w to my premier elite 24 panel. the panel is on the latest firmware. I've connected the cable across +-TR in both the panel and expander. when i Power up and confirm devices, it shows it as a normal expander, not a wireless version. Am i missing something?

an expander shows as an expander wrt to confirm devices. expanders use the same address system whether hard wired or wireless.

However if its address 1 you should be able to learn on wireless devices from zone 9 to 16. or if address 2 zones 17-to 24.
