Pounds

the cost to the tax payer for a feasibility study to build a bridge or tunnel between Scotland and Ireland

apparently a bridge would cost 335 billion and a tunnel 209 billion

apparently beufords dyke an under water trench on the most direct route would need to be carefully surveyed due to a million tons of in exploded munitions being dumped there

feasability studies

our council spent 5 or 6 grand to see about creating parking out side my place

they decided it was no feasable I could have told em that for a lot less than 5 grand :)

The whole thing was just Boris bullshit to the DUP after he threw them under the bus.

Bloody long way for either. Stick to boats

Our council changed a dual carriageway to a single lane each side and created a cycle lane and hatching with the other lane.

Suprisingly, this created three miles of solid traffic and added 20-30 minutes to rush hour commuter's journeys.

After 2 years, the council spent £150k on a study to determine why there were three mile tailbacks, and local side roads chock a block.

The pandemic came to the rescue and seemed to ease the congestion, otherwise I don't know how any study would have come up with an answer to the problem.

Best of all, the cycle lane may get less than 10 users per month, according to another study. I don't know how much that one cost.

beufords dyke
I’ve never heard of that, I thought it was one of your deliberate spelling mistakes!

Googling it shows not only is a thing, it’s got 1.17 million tons of explosive in it.

I’d like to see the risk assessment for removing it :ROFLMAO:
