Hello all,
Ps. I’m trying to train myself and this is the first time to try a firmware update.
I think I have killed my Honeywell dimension Galaxy 96 panel. I tried to upgrade the firmware. First off, I downloaded V7.04 from my buildings university site. I then used a Spi Key programmer and loaded the firmware onto the Spi Key. I then plugged the Spi Key into the panel and went to menu 70 to install the firmware. The Spi Key did its thing and then once the panel rebooted after installation, the beeping of death started. The keypad had stars with beeping and the control unit made a clicking noise like a Morse code.
Does anyone know if I can fix this? I tried crashing the panel but that did not work.
What did I do wrong
Kind regrds
John
