Greetings all!

My name is Barry and I live in beautiful Canberra, Australia.

18 months or so ago, I commenced work on a home built observatory in my front yard.

Since then, I have completed it and built a website, detailing all stages of construction in an effort to show others that they can do it themselves!

I cant post the URL here in keeping with forum rules, but you can search A.S.I.G.N Observatory if you wish.

If you do the same search on UTube, you will find a movie chronicle of the whole building project.

A.S.I.G.N observatory website has now become a wealth of knowledge, reference, step-by-step tutorials, lots of DIY, telescope alignment, and all that Jazz.

Come and have a look at it, drop me a line and ask all the questions of me you like. If I can help, I will. If I don't know, I will admit that, but I will still try to help you.

Cheers!

Baz.

Don't know that one. I've only been to the Canberra where the Parliament houses are.
