My building inspector wants 100mm insulation between the ceiling joists of all floors to 40dB spec. There are plenty of 600mm rolls about but I have 400mm centres so Isowool is ruled out. No local stockists of Crown Acoustic Joist Rolls and Rockwool flexi is very expensive. Any suggestions for altenatives that meet regs would be very welcome.
