What do you mean by that?
Caulks last a pretty long time. Different brands have differing levels of elasticity. They also shrink back at differing rates.
If you want something similar to DAP then look at the MS polymers, eg CT1 or the Everbuild PURAFLEX 40. They act like silicone sealants but are over-paintable- BUT you will probably need to coat them with water based paint first. In the past I have used OB undercoat over them and discovered that the UC was wet for weeks.
