I have searched and found various options regarding adding a rad to a combi system, some sound a bit daunting, bleeding systems, opening valves etc.My worcester 24i boiler is in my loft and all the rads are fed by downpiping,I want to add a rad and wonder if it is possible to prepare everything first and the cut into the 15 mm plastic piping in the loft that feeds another rad and then quickly connect everything up without losing to much water from the system,do you think this would work considering all the rads will be beneath the new connection.
cheers

Once the 1bar of pressure has been released....should be relatively dry thereafter

Thanks nigelf,I presume from your reply that I would only need to bleed the rads after doing the work.
