Hi, can somebody please help me!

I have a florescent tube light on my bedroom wall which is 2 way switched with a single 3 core and earth cable.

The blue and yellow cables run from one switch to the other without entering the tube light fitting, Only the live (red) and earth run through the fitting. (Should there not be a neutral connection to the fitting?)

I want to to 2 things. Firstly replace the tube fitting with a wall light, and, secondly, add another fitting and switch to the other side of the bed.

Can anyone please advise on the best way to go about this?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Rob

Thanks for that.

Plan B is to replace the florescent tube fitting with another wall light. However, as the tube light only has the live wire from the switch, how do i connect neutral and earth? if at all?
