Hi, I have a galaxy flex and want to add a wireless pir. What module do I need to get to do this. I see on Honeywell's website they have a C072 Galaxy RIO - 8 inputs/4 outputs and a A073-00-01 Direct mount RF portal PCB. I assum I need one of these. Can somebody give short explanation on what is the difference?

The CO-72 is a hard wired RIO for expansion of 8 hard wired zone inputs and 4 hard wired outputs.

The C079 (or A073) is an RF portal that expands the zones with compatible RF devices. It also enables RF fobs to set / unset or register a panic attack.

Each expansion module can only expand within the capabilities of the panel. Ie. A flex fx20 can only have 20 zones made up of a mix of wired or wireless.
