Advantages of manifold plumbing?

I am beginning the process of planning the plumbing layout from the main house to the extension. I was wondering if there would be a noticeable difference between using manifolds, tapping off to each appliance, or just supplies to the furthest appliance(s) with t-pieces branching off to each intermediate appliance?

I am planning a pressurised unvented cylinder with a system boiler.

I would be taking hot and cold feeds to bathroom, kitchen, utility, en suite and downstairs cloakroom.
