Advice needed on insulating our cold water tank

Hi there,

We have a cold water tank in our loft that no longer has a jacket (long dull story, but I had to remove it)

Our plastic tank is 1100mmx620mmx600mm For the life of me I cannot find a jacket that will fit - It seems this is quite a large tank.

Another small problem, our tank has no lid, again Im really strugling to find a lid - Im now thinking of making one out of that corrugated roofing plastic sheeting stuff.

One both accounts does anyone have any advice?

I've seen lids made from thin ply, and insulation from Celotex insulation board.

Don't insulate underneath, though.

That goes for loft insulation, too. None under the tank.
