Hi i'm planning to lay rimini slabs which dont have the most beautiful of edges.

my problem is i have a step, i can either face the front of it with slate cladding or is it possible to put a metal trim (that wont rust) like you would do on interior tile steps?

Is there a metal trim that wont rust suitable for outdoor?

thanks

When laying snadstone on steps i usually use an offcut of the slabs for the step riser and then over hang the tread slab off the front of the step by about 20mm. Once pointed up the edges look fine, you need to choose the slabs carefully though to avoid thick thin problems.
