Advice on replacing three switches with two dimmer switches

If you are going to use the switches on the cupboard lights themselves then you can make the switch wire to them a permanent line.
This will involve just connecting together the wires from either side of the switch that used to operate them (ie joining together the feed(s) and switch wire together)
If you are changing the metal box make sure it is deep enough for the dimmers.
By the way it is not advisable to dim halogen lamps.
