Thanks all in advance, I am planning some renovations to our new house, part of the work is going to involve moving some radiators.
They are on a Combi system (Vaillant ecoTEC824), having done work on systems in my previous house I thought it would be simple, but a few things has made me take a step back and think. I was hoping for advice and tips.

The work involves;
Removing two rads, and replacing with one in another location.
Replacing two rads with those I have just removed (they seem to be undersized, but am checking the BTU requirements).
Swapping one Rad with towel rail (different size) and chrome pipe and fittings.
I was planning on recovering some of the 10mm pipe from the rads I have removed to give the extra length needed to make the other adjustments.

The issues that have made me take a step back are;
10mm Copper to 15mm Chrome, is this a good idea?
I have no drain valve, and a sticker on my boiler that says do not drain. This is possibly related to the Sentinel X100 Inhibitor which is plumbed into the heating circuit, assumed to be dosing the system as required.
Is reusing pipe a good idea or is there much benefit in buying new.
I am getting a plumber to re-route the gas pipe anyhow, is it worth giving it to them?
My soldering is not the neatest, so tend towards compression fittings, would this be an issue on a heating system.

Thanks again,
Steve
