Just had my driveway done which has raised the level so the air brick is just above the surface. It’s right in front of the drain but my neighbour says still a risk for water.

I tried to find telescopic air brick vents but they are more where you want it to go down internally.

Any solution so the front of the house airbrick is raised off the surface, not venting down below on the inside? Can’t find a product or solution

Ideally should the drive should be 150mm/two bricks below dpc, but may not have been practical in the circumstances. Usual practice is to leave a lower shingle gap at the junction between drive and wall. If the fall is towards the house the air brick may let water in if there is flooding or very heavy rain.
