Aladdin automatic bleed valves

It seems mine failed after about 2 years as the radiator is now half-full of air. Are they always this rubbish?

Anyhow, can I just bleed it in the normal way by rotating the inner barrel and if so where can I get the tool?

Not impressed to be frank. Trialling them at home before unleashing them on the customers (company policy). Leaked twice all over my nice new tiles.

They're rubbish for two reasons - firstly they don't always last very long, and secondly they mask the underlying fault on the system that's causing air buildup and associated corrosion
