Have the above boiler & when lit for dhw or ch burner will light but then after a few mins will switch off. Would it be the thermistor or overheat stat? Diverter valve & microswitch replaced. Any help would be good.

its just switching off. after a few mins its on the go again any ideas?

I had the same issue with the 240p

I think that it might have been the venturi playing up.

I found that if I wedged the cover open very slightly it worked ok- PLEASE DO NOT TRY IT YOURSELF- it is very naughty.

I only did it for a couple of days whilst waiting for a new combi to be fitted.

Infact as a previous owner of an Ocean Alpha the best advice that I can give you is to get a new boiler. They really are crappy leaky money pits- sorry.

I have had a new boiler for over a year now and have not had to DIY it at all- bliss
