alpha 240x no hot water?

replaced selector switch as it was in 2 halfs inside the boiler,so now it works fine in ch mode but nothing at all happens when i ask for dhw when in ch & dhw mode,turn it to dhw only and its dead as a dodo,dhw microswitch ok but plunger not coming out to activate it, in ch & dhw mode and boiler running if i switch it to water only the boiler goes out.anybody with experience on these boilers please offer advice.

Diaphragm faulty. If its not even activating the microswitch then the selector switch is irrelevant.
