Alpha Oceon CB28 - Intermittent hot water

Hi - I have a 10 year old Alpha Oceon CB28 Combi - For what I was told was very good boiler had lots of issues over the years. The latest is the hot water goes hot then cold and hot and cold - very intermittent. Years back replaced the micro switch but think that was no hot water. Any ideas? Many thanks

There are a few things that can cause this on this boiler, rather than just throw parts at it you would be better getting an engineer familiar with this boiler to have a look at it for you, I wouldnt have thought you were looking at a huge repair but cant be sure as I havent seen the boiler

sorry that I couldnt be more helpfull but the two most common things for this problem are both within the combustion chamber so you cant really work on either of these yourself, but as said not really expensive problems to sort

All - Got British Gas out and for completeness of this post it was the diaphragm
