A drain valve over CU, I wouldn't not drain it down with that!. Cracked cover or cobweb?

Whatever happened to that pipes? Edit: Saw other thread.

Dan

Probably find that the CU was tucked well out of harms way - until the kitchen fitter and his plumber mate turned up.

Whoa!!

That pipework wasn't fitted by anyone who deserves to be called a plumber.

Anyway, aren't electricians just kitchen fitters with a Megger and an OSG?

Ah, kictchens fitted round DBs...

I seem to have lost the phone pics I took when I went to look at doing a few jobs for a friend of a friend (new hallway wall lights, and some PIR floods in the garden)

Decided not to get involved after finding lighting circuit lacked cpc, main earthing conductor undersized (and possibly wrong colour*), main bonds missing, wylex 3 way 3036 unit in a kitchen base unit with shelf cut round to fit round board (shelf was level with base of the DB and overlapped a tad), best bit was, this same shelf was level with middle of the cutout, and just cut around that (no idea if there was enough space to withdraw the fuse carrier... but there was a new digi meter there!)

* it was dark in the cupboard!... it looked black, but could have been a particulaly dark shade of green!
