Sorry for not replying sooner, PC has been down while getting house Christmassy for grand kids. 
Our boss has spoken/e-mailed the OM asking for their opinions on the matter but they can't seem to shed any light on the problem. Apparently one of their techs said if it kept happening we could take it out and ship it over to them for investigation. Yeah, right ok mate, we'll just contact DHL to arrange collection!
Went down yesterday for a quick inspection and it still seems to be running ok, maintenance man seems to be doing his job each week of checking the condition and blowing any carbon dust out so if he keeps it up it may just help it to last longer. Will let you know if it starts going awry again.
