Anyone want a cheap mobile, unlocked?

No, I'm not Derek Trotter...

I have this week bought two cheap as chips mobiles from CPW.

An Alcatel OT209 for 2.95 plus a tenner airtime.

And an LG GS101 for 3.95 plus a tenner airtime.

If these don' float your boat, then they're also doing a Samsung E1170 and a Nokia 1800, at 3.95 and 4.95 respectively, plus airtime.

My choice out of these is the LG. The Alcatel is a bit retro, but for 3 quid you can't complain.

And unlocked too, so when I've used the airtime, I can stick any old sim in it.

I don't know how much longer this offer is on for, so grab them while you can.

At these prices, it's not a great loss if you drop it down the pan (like I actually did one day...)

Don't ever give your kid an Alcatel mobile, he'll get bullied at school. Stick it on flebay, you'll get a few quid for it.

Sniff if you like, but the Alcatel is now 99p plus a £10 top-up, on Virgin.
