Hello all

We have a ring chime and oniy want it to chime during the day. However there's no schedule for ring available so can anyone please give me a link to maybe a socket plug that we can plug the ring chime into and then set the plug schedule so the ring chime only operates at the times we wish?
Also need a different schedule for the weekend as for the weekdays.
Hope someone can help?
Thanks all

I was looking at this but not sure it meets what we are needing?

I have a few of the Wi-Fi socket adaptors used on all sorts, from outside lights, to cooling fan. However, the door bell is used that infrequent, not something I have considered using it for, and would not work anyway. As the chime is built into the Tapo/Kasa hubs. The 1747557418334.png presses are recorded, so I know if pressed even if not home, but it does not allow me to talk to, or view callers.

The parcel delivery drop and run is a problem, they never push the door bell, and the Post, want me to answer door to say what my birthday is, I am 74 with a long beard, asked her what she would say if I said I was 16, got answer I would ask for ID.

But the old door bell, chimes when plugged in, so that would also not work.

Looks ok-amazon will do returns if not
I am an old codger so prefer physical buttons;)

Would the one below also work?
As long as the chime does not sound when power is turned on, yes they would be the type I would use. I use Tapo, and Wiser, the latter only as it acts as a repeater for my central heating, with Tapo there are two versions

seem to remember one needs a hub, and the other works direct from Wifi, seem to remember I use the P100 version, and it works very well. Think I got mine from Toolstation, but it was a long time ago.
