Thank you for your comments. Would it be possible to buy a new IR if the foil is getting to hot I tried a search for one that looks like mine but none showed up probably be to old I am assuming its not a built in part of the transformer.

The RCD tripping has nothing to do with the temperature of the foil. Your appliance has an earth fault, and needs attention from someone with an insulation resistance tester
